Modernity is a leading gallery in Stockholm, Sweden, dealing in 20th century design. We specialize in Scandinavian Design: furniture, ceramics, glass, lighting and jewellery. Our range consists of both well known classics and rare pieces by artists such as Hans Wegner, Arne Jacobsen, Alvar Aalto, Axel Salto, Berndt Friberg, to name but a few. The emphasis is on post-war design. Modernity supplies pieces to international collectors and museums. Our busy central showroom has also become a meeting place for anyone interested in 20th century design. The aim is to sell pieces in as good original condition as possible, but since the stock is vintage there may be some wear.
