In 2007 the company received the rights to produce all the products designed by architect Jorgen Hovelskov. Therefore now company Jorgen Christensen produces a number of Hovelskov products, which have never been produced previously, despite the fact that they were actually designed during the sixties.The new brochure emphasizes on, in what year the various products were designed and, as background to the photos and the text, the original designs are being illustrated. Jorgen Christensen A/S wants to profile ?Hovelskov? as one of the finest architects among Danish Designers, acknowledged by his simple and characteristic use of shape. Hovelskov is especially known and famous for his ?Harp? chair, which ? apart from being a combination of simplicity and organic whole ? furthermore was ahead of its time.
