The subtly oxidized medallions and stepped lozenge motifs are rendered in a bold selection of saturated colors, including tomato red, saffron yellow, oxidized green and burgundy. Created in Morocco circa 1950, this diverse vintage rug showcases a textbook variety of ancient protection symbols arranged in a formal composition.
