Designer: Wilhelm Kåge (Sweden, 1889 - 1960) Description:The "Argenta" series was created by Wilhelm Kåge during the 1920's and got its breakthrough at the Stockholm Exhibition in 1930. The real commercial success came during the 1940's and 1950's when the series was expanded to include plates, bowls, vases and urns, all with the characteristic green glazing. The pieces were decorated with classic and geometric motives, painted to the surface using a mictures of silver powder and oil. Specification:
